well happy monday!
how was the weekend? mine was good and relaxing. and included no food prep. except for these little lemon bites to take along to california this week ( i subbed almonds for cashews, added 1 tbsp of gelatin, forgot the vanilla, and used 1/2 lemon juice + 1/2 water). so good!
friday, i got to enjoy a much needed margarita with some mexican food, shopping and coconut milk ice cream. saturday morning was a quick run and a killer leg day. this workout was tough and the workout bud was not so happy at the end. with no heavy lifting for about 2 weeks, so i wanted to get in a good session. this one sure delivered and i’ll share it soon. in the meantime, check out this leg day post from friday.

i spent the afternoon at a dodgeball tournament, after the workout bud convinced me it’d be fun and promised ice cream if i tagged along. i ended up sitting and watching most of the tournament thanks to the morning workout. and i finished the night by seeing the other woman with my mom and sister. a little cleaning and last minute san francisco shopping on sunday, with a little sun time and an attempt at packing. you’ll find out tomorrow that i HATE packing.
i am particularly excited for today. getting my nails done after word. and leaving for california tomorrow morning! this will be my first time out to cali. the workout bud and i are both going to see our besties (we met at their wedding << check us out). i’m still working on the list of things i want to do while out there, but muir woods and going to the beach are on the top. let me know if you have any suggestions.
