Happy Thanksgiving Week!!!

Are you so excited?! I’m seriously excited for Thanksgiving, but I’m even more excited because I only have to work 2 DAYS this week! 2 DAYS!

IMG_1242.JPGHow was the weekend? Anything exciting happen for you? Friday, I took another half day at work and took my seester to see Mockingjay. Oh.My.Word. It was so stinking good! It’s been too long since I read the book, so I couldn’t remember if they staying true to the book for everything (most of it, I think). Either way, it was so well done and we LOVED it!

After the movie, I hung out with the fam all night. We feasted on City Barbecue, and my mom and I talked crafts while watching Hallmark movies. And Parenthood – OH.MY.WORD! I can’t believe there is only 4 more episodes left!

IMG_1243.JPGSaturday morning, my small group and I did some painting for an organization in our community that helps women that are victims of violence. Such an awesome organization and we had such a blast painting. After, I headed home to cross somethings off the todo list: finally respond to emails, get some things ready for new clients (2 newbies!), do a little cleaning and get my Thanksgiving menu planned.

The Workout Bud and I hung out for a bit after church and then had lunch with his parents. We were supposed to have lunch with both parents – they were going to meet for the first time after after 4 1/2 years of friendship (and dating off and on), but my dad woke up sick. We had a really good lunch and then I spent the afternoon doing a little blog work. And watched a few episodes of Scandal – I’m addicted. Only on episode 7, but it’s oh, so good!

If you’ve been reading posts for the last couple weeks, you know that I’ve been super stressed at work. In order to de-stress, I gave myself permission to eat ALL the brownies and popcorn and cereal. I realized this weekend that doing that is no bueno. So, instead, this week, instead of choosing to treat myself to a processed treat, I’ve decided to either read a book (The New Rules of Lifting – been on my list for months!) or knit my scarf. I thought about just chilling and reading blogs or fitness articles, but being on the computer 8-9hrs a day is more than enough! Although, I’ve missed reading all my favorite blogs lately!

This week, it’s reading and knitting, over brownies and popcorn.

I know it’s a bit early…but I am giddy with excitement for Christmas decorating!

Finished my morning workout. Busy day at work ahead. New client assessment after. Work Tuesday. And then vacation.

I’ll let you know how my knitting and reading goes!
