Well, hello. It’s Monday.
Again!
And it’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. One of my heroes.

How was your weekend? Exciting? Fun? Relaxing? Mine was pretty good. I’m wishing for warm weather so much. It was sunny and mid-40’s this weekend, which was such a nice break for the bone cold.

Friday, The Boy and I made sushi and watched a movie before rearranging his apartment. I’m ever so slowing trying to make the place look like a girl lives there before I move in after the wedding in June. It’s looking better.

Saturday, we ventured out a little later than planned to REGISTER! We started at Target and scanned all kinds of things. After Target, we went for lunch at one of our favorite spots before heading to Bed, Bath & Beyond. I was super excited to get a gun and go crazy in that store. BUT, one of their employees take you around the store. It was really helpful to get her opinion of what products were good and hear her recommendations. There were a few things she pointed out that I hadn’t thought of. It was a good 2 hours in the store and we didn’t even finish the list, so we have another appointment in February to finish up. The day ended with a bit of shopping to find his outfit, homemade Ramen, and Parenthood – which was so great. I am so bummed that it’s ending!

Sunday was church, a little food prep, and wedding talk with my mom. I hadn’t seen her all week, so it was so great to catch up. I didn’t do much wedding planning this week (as is evident in my lack of pins on Pinterest! hah!), and she reminded me of so many things I had to do! And Sunday night – I caught up on alllll the things. So many things I have on my list, I can’t even write them all!

But, luckily, I made a smaller list to start tackling this week. Here’s to another Monday.

on yoga: why it rocks

on handstands: tips and tricks

on conditioning: a few q&a’s

on food budgeting: 5 tips for saving

on my ‘I want to eat every one of these recipes. Right now.’ list: one. two. three. four. five.

This nugget is Audrey Parker. My sister bought her a few weeks ago. She is getting so big and even cuter.

Busy week ahead and I can’t wait. I feel like my workout mojo is back and I’m sticking with my challenge to Just Move.

What was the best part of your weekend?  What are you looking forward to this week?
