Friday started with an early morning of teaching Bootcamp at 5am. I taught three classes, had a short break and then subbed another class at my gym. Then it was time for a little ‘Treat Yo Self’ time at Target, TJ Maxx, and Old Navy for some new workout clothes! It was a pretty successful trip!
My twin sibs turned 14 on Friday, so we celebrated with dinner. And then I went with my mom and Omi to pick out flowers for the wedding!! We are doing fake flowers to save money. I LOVE what we picked out. My bouquet will be mostly magnolias (my favorite flower) and the girls will have a peach peony!
Saturday was filled with random things – a little blogging, a little workout planning stuff. I went with my mom to get all her goods for her detox. It was so fun. I just love helping people get started on the journey to a healthy life. I love fitness and helping people love working out. BUT, I also absolutely love talking food and nutrition! I’m REALLY hoping I can get a nutrition certification super soon!
I went for my first run of the season on Sunday! After church, The Bud and I ran a couple errands, did a bit of cleaning and then went on a walk/run. Guys, it felt AMAZING! I even did a few sprints, running so fast I felt like my legs would fall off. Then I ran a mile…with The Bud falling close-ish behind. I haven’t felt that good after a workout in a long time. I forgot how much I love running. Pretty much ecstatic that it’s warm outside. My body does so much better with sun, warmth and movement.
