Today, I’m sharing a review of SOS Rehydrate and giving you a chance to win a box! Plus, find out a few of my favorite things, in the latest edition of Friday Favorites!
HAPPY FRI-YAY!!
Hi Friends! Friday is upon us again and as usual, I’m pumped. I do love meeting with clients and brainstorming business strategies, but I seriously love a day when I can just work, uninterrupted. The Husband played photographer on Wednesday and we shot all the workouts for this month. If you remember, the Modality of the Month for November is medicine balls. I’ve got 2 solid workouts to share and some of my favorite exercises (15 to be exact) to share with you next week! Stay tuned.
Today, we get another edition of Friday Fav’s. And because I love you so dearly, a fun little giveaway! Enjoy!

FITNESS
25 DAYS OF FITMAS CHALLENGE
I should have put a picture here to show you how excited I am to be launching a new holiday fitness challenge. I was originally thinking 3 weeks, but how much more fun is 25 Days of Fitmas?!! Yes? This challenge will be focusing on high intensity, strength based workouts, all under 25 minutes, and I’m giving you 25 unique workouts! There will also be a bigger nutrition focus, to help keep everyone on track for the holiday season. Accountability, nutrition, fitness, and (holiday) fun! Make sure to leave your email in the comments for more details!
NUTRITION
For the month of November, I’m really trying to focus on cutting out inflammatory foods (for me, gluten and dairy) and incorporating gut healing foods. I’ve noticed my digestion is a bit off and I want to make sure I go into the winter months with a strong gut. I found this at Earthfare and decided to give it a try. This was so warm and soothing. I drank half the container just plain and then added the other half to a cup of GingerAid Tea. So stinking good. I usually make my own bone broth, but if I’m in a pinch, this will definitely be my brand of choice!
TRADER JOE’S PUMPKIN SPICE PUMPKIN SEEDS
So, as these little seeds contain butter and sugar, they do not really fall into the gut healing category, but are they ever tasty! I bought a bag early in the season and devoured it. I nursed my second bag a bit longer and finished them at the end of last weekend (sadly). If TJ’s still has these pumpkin seeds stocked, go purchase like 5 bags. Right now. You won’t be disappointed.
MUSIC
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been one of those people that refuses to listen to Christmas music or watch Christmas movies until after Thanksgiving. Last year, I wavered a bit in October, but got back on track. This year…I listened for like a week at the end of October. Ah. I can’t help it. I love it so much. I’m trying to stay strong and not listen until after Thanksgiving, so I don’t get too sick of it (said no one ever). I’m staying strong. My favorites so far are Pentatonix, Dave Barnes, Dustin Kensrue, and Johnnyswim. What are your favorites?
REHYDRATION
SOS REHYDRATE REVIEW & GIVEAWAY
Have you ever heard of SOS Rehydrate? I’m my opinion, this is THE BEST electrolyte replacement product out there. Move over Gatorade…like way over. SOS Rehydrate is in my water bottle for every single class I teach, often in my water bottle when I do my own workouts, and occasionally in my cup on days when my muscles are sore/tight (tight muscles are dehydrated muscles) OR I’m struggling to get in enough water.
Now, I’ll be honest, when I first tried SOS, I wasn’t a fan. It was too salty and just not good. After I played around with the amount of water I add to a sachet, I was hooked. And you know, when I workout and I’m sweating, it has a sweet flavor. I seriously cannot live without this stuff.
When I sadly had to for a few days because I could never get on top of it with my ordering on time, I tried a couple other electrolyte replacements and nothing can hold a candle to SOS.
But, why is it so great (see all benefits)?
- SOS Rehydrate was created by a doctor and 2 former pro athletes and it’s formula is based on proven medical and scientific research.
- It helps absorb water 3x faster than water alone.
- Contains 3x the amount of electrolytes as regular sports drinks.
- It’s low in calories, with no artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors or preservatives.
You can choose from a Citrus (MY FAV) or Berry flavor. They just came out with a new Mango flavor (so on point!) as more of a lifestyle rehydration drink. I like SOS with a little more water than recommended, usually 10-12/14oz. If you try it and don’t like it, play with the concentration. When I have it, I like to mix SOS with water and either coconut water or maple water. So good!
Now, I’ve been using SOS Rehydrate for months and I think it’s high time to share the delicious nectar with one lucky reader! If you win, you will receive 1 box of your SOS Rehydrate Flavor of choice (citrus or berry). Giveaway ends Tuesday, November 10 at midnight. I’ll announce the winner on Wednesday!

Linking up with Jill today!
What do you have going on this weekend? The Hubs has a volleyball tournament tonight and we are hanging out with my Omi on Saturday for a bit, but other than that, nothing too big planned. I didn’t have a TV section, but we are mid-way through The Originals Season 2 and it is so good! The Hubs wasn’t feeling it at first, but now we can’t get enough!
What are your favorites? Have you listened to Christmas music yet? Interested in joining the 25 Days of Fitmas?!
XOXO,
Jen

Only occasionally do I drink something other than tea in my water (writing that out it sounds weird to me). I’d like to find something to add to it because it’s starting to get boring and papery tasting again.
I am a huge tea drinker but I love to switch it up every now and then. SOS is a great way to do that!
The 25 Days of Fitmas sounds like a lot of fun! Great way to close out the year. I’ve heard of SOS vaguely but never really looked into it. I usually just drink water and use Clif gels for long runs.
How are CLIF gels, Janelle? I haven’t ever really tried anything other than liquid for a run. I’ll shoot you some info on the 25 Days of Fitmas!
Nalgene at my desk 24/7!
Love my Nalgene, Judith!
I have heard of SOS but never given it a try. My go to for a pick me up during my workout is Amino Energy by Optimum nutrition.
Oooh, I’ve never heard of the Amino Energy, but I do know Optimum puts out a quality product. I’ll have to check it out!
ooh those pumpkin seeds sound great. Love the 25 days of fitmas I would like to hear more about that. I love a good challenge
The pumpkin seeds are just the best, Deborah. You gotta try them out! Just sent you over info about the 25 Days of FITmas!
I stay hydrated by always having my water bottle on me!
I’m with you, Paige. Same here!
SOS is the best! we love it!
It’s so great!
How did I not know about bone broth?! I just added this to my grocery list!! And Trader Joe’s is always a favorite!! Entering the giveaway now!!
Bone Broth is the best, Rachel!
I can see why these things are your favorites. Your challenge sounds awesome! Have a great weekend Jen.
I am water drinker for sure. I think I drink pop once a month (or less)…
